Fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes and photographs from Beth Israel Congregation, as well as all of its associated committees and groups. Included are the records of Hadassah, Hillel, B'nai B'rith, the Jewish Community Council, Talmud Torah and the Cemetery. Also included are records from some members of the Congregation; a 2 DVD, multi-media presentaton set commemorating Beth Israel's 100th Anniversary through 8 exhibits including: 'Introduction', 'Our History', 'Spritual & Religious', 'Cemetery and Chevra Kadisha', 'Our Families', 'Our Youth', 'The Women of Beth Israel', and 'Beth Israel and Its Greater Community', plus a set of CD-Rs containing photographs and other visual material associated with the DVD set; DVD+R containing an "Homage Slideshow" and a number of "tribute" letters, from a variety of individuals, presented to Rabbi Daniel Elkin, at the time of his retirement from the Synagogue; two copies of "The Book of Portions", a 100th Anniversary Project of Beth Israel Synagogue, coordinated, compiled, and edited by S. Woolley, and consisting of devrei Torah, derashot, and addresses given from the Bimah of the Synagogue during its centennial year.
