This video provides an oral history of the first few years of SFU as seen through the eyes of staff, charter students, administrators, and faculty. They describe the excitement and pioneer spirit of those times as well as the challenges. The innovative approaches to teaching and faculty appointments created a different kind of University that would offer a new beginning for its participants.

This interview of the Simon Fraser Architects Arthur Erickson and Geoffrey massey was held at Simon Fraser University on October 18, 2006, by the Exceuitve Board of the Simon Fraser Retirees Association.
