History

Edouard-Joseph Langevin (1833-1909) was the brother of Sir Hector Langevin, and studied at the Seminary of Quebec in 1858. He was appointed as the Senate’s chief administrative officer, the Clerk of the Senate in 1883 and served in the position until his retirement in 1900.
