Scope and content
Item is an electro-steel engraving of Owen Farrel, born 1716, a footman for the Colonel at Dublin and carried around the country for shows because he could lift four men at once despite his size. He sold his body to the surgeon Mr. Omrod who made a skeleton of his bones that was preserved in the museum of the Duke of Richmond. Later his bones were distributed widely.
