Series consists of subject files and correspondence relating to political issues in Toronto and Ontario, as well as material for Salsberg's campaigns for Alderman and MPP. Also included are minutes and correspondence for the Labour Progressive Party, formerly the Communist Party, and notes relating to Salsberg's trips to Europe in 1947 and to the USSR in 1948.
