Custodial history

As the responsibiltiy for the records of the Society has always been vested with the Secretary-Treasurer, there had been growing concern that they were in danger of being misplaced if this system remained in place. Consequently, it was felt by the last person holding this position, and with the blessing of the Executive, that it was time the Society records were transferred to Queen's University Archives for permanent preservation.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, financial records, membership lists, and announcements maintained by various Secretary-Treasurers over the years; an album celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the founding of the Society (1990); subject files; copies of papers read before the Society.
