The fonds consists of a body of artwork consisting of original illustrations, cartoons, drawings, and mixed media images provided to publishers, magazines, and various media outlets, including "Harrowsmith Magazine", "Equinox", "Bungalo Books", "Groundwood Press", and "Pokeweed Press".

Fonds consists of correspondence, memoranda, manuscripts, reports, subject files, political party materials, and records reflecting four decades of endeavor in numerous areas; correpsondence and MSS relating to articles appearing in the "International Political Science Review"; correspondence and articles relating to various international confereneces attended. The Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism, Ontario Advisory Committee on Confederation, and the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission are covered in great detail.

The fonds consists of correspondence, notebooks, research papers and reprints of articles by friends and colleagues. Of particular note is correspondence with Sir Ernest Rutherford, 1908-1937. Also included are Gray's stamp collection and a ledger kept by W.M. Herchmer and John R. Forsyth for the estate of Major Alexander Forbes, army officer, Kingston, Ontario. April 1851-1852, and notes on Forbes' military career made by Professor J.D. Forbes, that was acquired and retained by Gray.

The fonds consists of meeting minutes and constitution of the council, a small amount of correspondence wtih the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation as well as various financial doucments pertaining to to the various activities undertaken by the council.
