The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, scrapbooks, photographs, speeches, addresses, lecture and research notes, honorary degrees, certificates and awards; and material covering all aspects of Senator Goldenberg's career. The largest category is Senator Goldenberg's work for the Canadian Labour Congress as conciliator, mediator and, most frequently, arbitrator. There is also a large amount of material on some of the commissions, conferences and advisory posts on which Senator Goldenberg has served. Of particular interest are the records of the Royal Commission on Metropolitan Toronto, 1964, the inquiry under the Combines Investigation Act into the Electrical Wire andCcable Industry in Quebec during 1952-1953, and some unusual material on problems in the Jamaican and Trinidadian Sugar Industries. The correspondence files contain extensive correspondence with many of Canada's leading political leaders including Mackenzie King, Lester B. Pearson, Pierre Trudeau, and C.D. Howe. There are also many letters from Stephen Leacock.

The fonds consists of correspondence of both a polical and business nature, subject files, mining reports and records of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, press clippings, photographs and a large collection of maps. There is also extensive material regarding an arbitration case between Cementation Company (Canada) Limited and International Minerals and Chemical Corporation (Canada) Limited which includes correspondence, transcripts and evidence.

Lorne and Edith Pierce collection
Collections consists of Memorial Books relating to both Lorne and Edith Pierce; travel diaries; photographs; and a copy of Edith Chown Pierce's, "Canadian Glass: A Footnote to History". Nearly every Canadian literary figure of note for the period 1920 to 1960 is representedby at least some manuscript material in this collection. Among its many highlights the collection includes the letters and manuscripts of William Wilfred Campbell; Desertion in Canada by Major John Richardson; the original manuscript of William Kirby's novel, The Golden dog; manuscripts written and decorated by Wilson Macdonald; letters, manuscripts and memorabilia of Sir Charles G. D. Roberts; and the Marjorie Pickthall papers which include her diaries, letters manuscripts and sketches. Also represented are Raymond Knister, Duncan Campbell Scott, Archibald Lampman, Camille Roy, Stephen Leacock, Marius Barbeau,Audrey Alexandra Brown, Earle Birney, Katherine Hale, A. J. Pratt and Al Purdy. Some papers of artists J.E. H. Macdonald, A. Y. Jackson, C.W. Jefferys and Thoreau Macdonald are included in this collection.
The fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts, typescripts, galley proofs, author files, financial and other business records. Author files deal with all aspects inherent within the publication of that author's manuscript. The reseacher is able to trace the development and the forces that come to bear upon the publication, from the initial submission of a manuscript to the ultimate printing and sale of that manuscript. Manuscripts, typescripts, galley proofs and press proofs of most published manuscripts are included in the fonds.

Fonds consists of "The Clark Papers: Letters from former students and well wishers of Professor Reg Clark upon his retirement from Queen's University, 1954-1992"; being letters of appreciation from former students, bound and presented to Dr. Reginald H. Clark upon his retirement from the Department of Chemical Engineering. In addition there are his lecture and course notes of the "Nature, Science and Man" interdisciplinary environmental studies course he designed in the 1970s.

Fonds predominantly consists of records created and maintained by the Fund in pursuit of their goal to grant funds for projects which carry out the aims of the organization. Also contains governance records such as minutes, annual reports, and policies relating to the Endowment Council.
Canadian First World War Internment Recognition Fund
The collection is comprised of correspondence, articles, telegrams and official military documentation collected and received by Martha and George Lockyer from their son, Chris Railton Lockyer who died on active service (17 August 1917) in the Battle for Hill 70, near Vimy. The collection also includes a number of letters from Alec Lockyer to his parents and siblings. This material was organized by Don Lockyer into two named volumes "Far from Home" and "Somewhere in Europe". The volumes intersperse non-contemporaneous articles and materials framing and contextualizing this material within a larger narrative. Also included are some supplemental letters, photographs and a memorial marker for C.R. Lockyer.
