The fonds consists of video productions in a variety of formats (Umatic, VHS, created in-house by QTV for a variety of institutional clients and departments. Also includes slides of CORK 1975; visit by H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II, 1976; Sailing Olympics off Portsmouth Harbour, 1976; Queen's University staff, 1970's. Stills from old QTV productions showing buildings, staff and research, both on an off the University campus.

Installation of the Chancellor Part 2

Part 2. Dr Brian Dickson, Keith Norton. Dr Dickson gives a speech to the convocation congradulating Dr Benedickson and thanking her for his doctorate, as well as talking about Canadian history. Norton speaks on behalf of the premier of Ontario. Representatives form other universities come up and congratulate Dr Benedickson.

Installation of Principal David Smith

Main Speaker: Agnes Benediskson, David Smith, Keith Norton
Location: Grant Hall
Begins with procession entering the hall. University chaplain opens with a prayer, then Benedickson welcomes everyone and declares Smith principal of Queen's University. Smith then addresses the convocation with a speech. Afterwards Norton speaks on behalf of the provincial government in regards to the appointment. Smith then presents Jill Ker Conway, William McNeill, Henry Rosovsky, Erich Vogt, and Ronald Watts with an honourary doctorate of laws. Dr Rosovsky then addresses the convocation, after which the chaplain says a closing prayer.

Convocation, 1991, Kenojuak Ashevak & David Johnston LLD

Main Speaker: David Smith, Kenojuak Ashevak, David Johnston. Location: Large gymnasium. Begins with Smith talking about the convocation and the sesquicentennial celebration before presenting Ashevak with an honourary doctorate of laws. She says a few brief words and then Johnston is presented with his honourary degree. Johnston then speaks for the rest of the video.
