Annual Announcement

Cover reads "Annual Announcement 1930-1931" from the Oshawa Collegiate and Vocational Institute, Oshawa Ontario. Inside lists the Board of Education members, the Advisory Vocational Committee members, the Officers of the Board members, the Staff of 1930-1931 including the Principal, Heads of Departments, Assistances, and Librarians. Further in is "The Announcement", which basically summarizes the "value of education" and the "aims of education" according to the board. The booklet continues to list courses available in different departments, the rules and processes regarding examinations, textbooks for all courses, school activities, and recommendations for students at different levels.

Letter from John G. Hotchersall and CA Rutta

Inviting "kiggy" to first "Great Open Air Demonstration and Naturalization" in County of Hastings near Belleville on June 27, 1926. Goal of Demonstration to be inspiring for the "Protestant movement", describing it as a "Great Crusade". Wishes to come in Klan Regalia clothes to "impress onlookers".

Document

Reads: "Whereas Jas S. Lord of St Stephens, Realm of New Brunswick" of "violating oath" and "guilty of creating dissention and discord". This document "banishes him from Citizenship in the Invisible Empire". Signed by a GA Warren, "acting Imperial Wizard".

Front of card reads "For Auld Lanc Sync". Inside reads "I will keep thee in my book of memory".

Postcard from Ohio

Picture is a bird's eye view of Patinbay, Ohio. Painting of what looks like a small town or village. Canadian postage. On the back, handwritten with pencil that is now faded. Reads: "This is a lonely place to work… Friday afternoons…". On the actual card there is a small hole that goes through the card, and it seems to have had a dark colored liquid spilled onto it and staining it.
