There are also a large number of documents reflecting the many land transactions in which Simpson was involved. Of particular interest are the records pertaining to Farm Lot 24, Lot 23 and Lot 16 (Military Reserve) in the City of Kingston.

Henderson in 1890. These papers were created druing the time of his practical administration and include leases, insurance payments, the Glebe farm, vouchers, tax bills, etc. There are no minutes and little correspondence, of particular interest are a few architectural elevations for shop fronts by Newlands and Thomas Power. Of particular note are the numerous drafts of a private bill, an Act respecting St. George's Church, Kingston (57 Vict C.23), 1894 that formalized the operation of the Rectory Fund under the Rector of St. George's and Kingston Rectory Committee appointed by Synod of Diocese of Ontario.
