Item is a reproduced photograph half-tone print from a magazine. It has the description: On Athabasca Lake (area 4,400 square miles).- Around this post is the largest settlement north of Edmonton. Fort Chippeyan is the chief calling palce of the Hudson Bay Co.'s steamer "Grahame," which serves a route of over 800 miles of the Mackenzie watershed.
