Reads: "It becomes my duty to-day to send you a message that tugs at my very heart strings. This message is one of farewell to you, since I am retiring from the position of Imperial Kligrapp of the organization. There is always a feeling of gratitude as well as of responsibility in the heart of the man, who through Providence, is permitted to bring any institution into existence. I shall always have the you and the pride of being the father of the Ku Klux Klan in Canada. It is the child of my heart's love, and of course, this love can never be diminished or the union broken. I go, believing I have made a worthy contribution to our Anglo Saxon cause and to Protestantism. This is some measure lessens my regret at going. My world has been done --my contributions made --the movement is well and powerfully established --the foundation made secure! The organization has produced many great souls and will yet produce an adequate and sincere, and able leadership. Trust these leaders and uphold and co-operate with them. This is my parting charge. I came to Canada for the purpose of setting up this movement. I came to give to it the very best in my life. That I have fulfilled my vow, I believe no one will question. All the while I have known that at the proper time, the movement should be turned over to worthy men and women in Canada, who have espoused the cause and accepted the obligation o carrying on the work. [...] I have the pleasure of realizing that we have many thousands of members who are faithful and true, scattered over the county all the way form Halifax to Vancouver. That these Klansmen and Klanswomen will "CARRY ON" to success, and greet victory, I have not the slightest doubt. My associations with his Lordship, J. MacNab Wilson, Imperial Wizard and with the other members of the Imperial Kloncilium and with the thousands of our citizens has been of such a nature as to bring to my soul, memories to be cherished forever. I part reluctantly with these fellowships. It grieves me to even think that I shall not likely see you again soon [...] I bid you God speed as you go forward in the great task of building this great cause in Canada. I charge you, faithful Klansmen and Klanswomen BE TRUE, BE LOYAL, STICK TOGETHER, PRACTISE THE PRINCIPLES of our great cause, ESCHEW PETTY JEALOUSIES, and DIFFERENCES, for your opportunities are all but infinite and your obligations are very great. As I go form you, conscious of my many shortcomings here in your midst, I earnestly solicit your prayers and a continuation of that blessed fraternity and friendship which I have had from every one of you. Let nothing divide or disturb your course. Our enemy is united through fear and external force. Our Unity must be from choice and deep moral conviction. Unfilled out Christmas Greeting Card. Picture on front of a snowy house.

Addressed to a Mr. W.H. Hutchison in Oshawa, ON. Addresses Hutchison as "Faithful and Esteemed Klansman". Mentions a Mr. Fowler intending to come with writer to Oshawa on October 26 for "the purpose of getting your organization off to a start again". Stating they have the records of some names and is requesting a complete record. Requesting to wire at writer's expense at "Room 603 Temple Building" when they have arranged a hall. Signed "Yours in the Sacred Unfailing Bong, O. Elliott, Director of Propagation".

Annual Announcement

Cover reads "International Correspondence Schools Lexicon: French-English". First Edition, Scranton, PA, from the International Textbook Company. The number 321 is on the bottom. Inside the book is an actual lexicon, translating from French abbreviations and words into English.

From the "Headquarters Ku Klux Klan of Kanada", a list of "Income and Expenditure Account for period of Nov 1rst, 1926 to May 31rst, 1927". Includes an item list with according costs, such as Robes for $250.40 and Printing and Stationary for $237.42. Also includes "Salaries" for "Office" for $1,301.48, "Executive" for $4,660.00, and "Special (Proctor) for $152.00 and "Income" for various items.

Title reads: "To All Geni, King and Major Kleagles, Kleagles, Imperial Representatives, and Citizens of the Invisible Empire". That on November 22, a body of Klansmen and Klanswomen presented an appeal for an Imperial Kloncovation and asked that a special Klonvocation Committee assist the members of the Imperial Kloncilium. Outlines that the first to be elected is for Imperial Wizard, who must be a native born British subject. He will then nominate his Imperial staff for the Imperial Kloncilium and this will be voted on. Notes that Ladies will convene on same day and same hour in same building, but in a different room. Begins with: "Loyalty to this Organization, to the Imperial Officers, and to the great Movement in which we are engaged, means much to each and every one of us. Let us try to accomplish more … In view of this, we must be continually on the alert, not only here at Headquarters, but at our Local Klaverns and Auxiliaries, to guard against the evil design of those not only from the outside, but from the inside of our own membership. We have nothing to fear from the outside if our membership is loyal to the duly elected and constituted officers, and supports them in their work for this great cause". Goes on to explain that they do not have the money for an "Investigation department", or a "Secret Service Department", so much depend on the cooperation of their membership. Further reiterates that dues must be handed in on time, and Units should be having regular meetings, reports should be handed in to Headquarters, and that the shipment of robes are coming in soon. Also mentions that 5 new units have been established in Nova Scotia, and that work in New Brunswick has been "satisfactory". Cautions: "Don't grumble -don't be a grouch -don't kill a meeting by knocking a Klansman. Don't say you cannot help or will not help, but be a booster. If your local Organization is not pledged 100 per cent, why not go to work to-day and make it 100 per-cent. This is the spirit that will make this Organization truly a success". Updates that Fowler is in New York, and lists names from different towns in Ontario that have been banished from the organization. In closing, "we trust that each Klansman may realise the truth contained in the resolution unanimously passed in the House of commons and in the Senate: 'Resolved, that as Canada is approaching the sixtieth anniversary of our founding as a Dominion the Parliament of Canada place on record its appreciation of the achievements of the Fathers of Confederation, and with united voice express the faith and confidence in the future of this our country and its development as a member of the British Commonwealth of Nations, owing allegiance to His Majesty the King. We trust that this commemoration will lend added inspiration to the patriotic fervor of our people, and afford a clearer vision of our aspirations and ideals, to the end that from sea to sea there may be developed a robust Canadian spirit, and in all things Canadian profounder national unity' ". Explaining the need to increase membership and "develop a nobler manhood". Mentions also that they have received "public recognition from the K.K.K. of U.S.A., which Grand Dragon G.E. Carr stated: "Our doors in the U.S. are open to Canadian Klansmen who operate their own Klans as Canadian organizations. our doors are closed to any group that follow banished Americans who are over here. The U.S. Klan does not know how to operate in Canada, doesn't want to operate in Canada, and isn't going to. And the U.S. klan doesn't want Canadians to have banished American Klansmen operate their klans for them". Goes on to update the Fowler is out of Canada for good, and that there is talks between the K.K.K. of K. and the Canadian Knights of the K.K.K. to amalgamate. Explains further that a "nobler manhood" is developed by "cultivating the ideals that build for higher things. Klankraft is essential to the real Canadian gentlemen to-day, and to this and worth0while activities should be undertaken. At this period it has become easier to obtain intoxicating liquors, and we wish to emphatically state from Imperial headquarters that no intoxicating drinks shall be permitted within our Klaverns, or on our Open Air Fields where Demonstrations are held". Emphasizes also the need to show one's Imperial Pass Card to prove he is a Klansman when gaining admittance. Signed J.S. Lord, Imperial Kligrapp, and George Marshall, Imperial Wizard.
