This collection is comprised of medals gathered from a number of various sources (many unknown). A number of the medals are those which were awarded by Queen's University for proficiency and/or excellence in a given area (Classics, Surgery, History, etc.). Many of these medals were made by Wyon of London.
Collection consists of travellers' accounts of visits to Kingston and vicinity (1671-1900); copies of articles and booklets relating to the history of Kingston and district.
This collection consists of a photocopy of a letter written by Robert Burns to the Duke of Queensberry in 1791 (the original is framed in Special Collections), and the Christie auction catalogue from where the letter was purchased.
The fonds consists of copies and transcriptions of records relating to World War I and World War II; the Colby Collection description; calendars of some records; 106 photographs relating to World War II; and finding aids for several collections in the museum, including the papers of Sir Henry Tizard, 1885-1959.
The collection consists of recordings of Canadian writers and poets, produced by the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education as the series "Canadian Writers on Tape" and "Canadian Poets on Tape." The authors represented include Al Purdy, Morley Callaghan, Margaret Laurence, Earle Birney, Mordecai Richler, among others.
This collection is comprised of memorabilia from the Science Formal of 1974. The theme of the formal was "Lothlorian" from Lord of the Rings. The collection includes drawings of designs and plans for the set-up of the formal, two batik flags which were used as decoration, and a beer stein and set of matches which were made specifically for the formal.
Collection consists of recordings of sessions from the Ontario PC Annual Meeting, including the proceedings of the Mayor Crombie Luncheon, the Premier's Banquet, and the Robert Stanfield Luncheon.
