Item is an back-matted, standing print of Lord Townsend; Wolfe's sucessor in Quebec, 1760 (b.1724-d.1807). Is signed in print as an identifier by the subject. There are previous siogns of a oval overlay attached to the photo over the image and only the top right corner is attached.

Engraved by Paul asand and retouched by P.Benazech from a drawing on the spot by Capt. Hervey Smyth and published in London Nov. 5th, 1760 T. Jeffries.
