Governors house. First executive meeting house of Lt. Governor Simcoe. Now known as 'Simcoe House' on Queen St. In 1959, it was reconstructed in Upper Canada Village resuming its original appearance.

Mackintosh during his time as the 12th Principal of Queen's University. There are important files on the Anti-Combines Investigation Act, the 1945 Dominion-Provincial Conference, the Royal Commission on Dominion-Provincial Relations, the National Employment Commission, the Economic Advisory Committee, 1939-1944, and Queen's University.
