Wilson, as the guest speaker (22 April 1989); of the Seventeenth Annual Queen's University Archives Lecture, featuring Dr. A.B. Much of the material that still exists was originally that of Dorothy Todd Tanner, that remained in Harry's possession when she passed away. The fonds has been divided into two series, material seemingly created and or accumulated by Harry Tanner about his life and work, and a second series of material that was maintained by Dorothy Tanner from, or about, Harry that then came to be in Harry's possession after her death.
Fonds consists of correspondence covering a broad array of topics; memoranda; speeches; subject files; diaries; scrapbooks; photographs; sound recordings of numerous speeches delivered over the years. Of particular interest is the prototype on cheese cloth (bunting), possibly used by Joan O'Malley to sew the first Canadian maple-leaf flag, which was presented to the Canadian Parliament by Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson. Also includes the "Pearson Pennant."

The correspondence covers several continents geographically, and several decades of time. Topics range widely, and include numerous references to North American and Mexican arts and culture. Photographs of Leonard Brooks World War II art are included.

Collection consists of documents acquired and assembled by Mildred Livingston in documenting her family genealogy and research interest in United Empire Loyalists. Includes records pertaining to the Livingston, Judson, Phelps and Mallory families among others and largely comprised of land records such as mortgages, deeds, grants with a small amount of correspondence, invoices, ledgers, etc. Also included are Mildred Livingston's research notes on various lineages.
