Addressed to "All Genii, Kind and Major Kleagles, Kleagles and Citizens of the Invisible Empire, Knights (and Ladies) of the Ku Klux Klan of Kanada"

Addressed to "my faithful and esteemed Klansmen and Klanswomen". In light of C. Fowler's messages, must now look to the more vital issues at hand. Reads, "…with upturned faces, written over with a deeper trust, with a kindlier eye, and a warmer beat of the heart, realizing as never before that in the Invisible Empire are the forces, the issues and the life that abides forever". Continues to quote Tennyson, "I dreamed that stone by stone I reared a sacred flame, a temple, neither pagoda, mosque, nor church, but a loftier, simpler, always open-doored to every breath from Heaven, and Truth and Peace, and Love and Justice came and dwelt therein". Further quotes "To live as gently as I can,/ To be no matter where --a man;/ To take what comes of good or ill,/ And cling to faith and honor still;/ To do my best and let that stand,/ The record of my brain and hand;/ And then should failure come to me,/ Still work and hope for victory". Wishes Fowler continued success. Also notes that the Imperial Wizard is in poor health, but wishes to show signs of convalescence. Signed the Knights of Ku Klux Klan of Kanada.

Addressed to "All Genii, Kind and Major Kleagles, Kleagles and Citizens of the Invisible Empire, Knights (and Ladies) of the Ku Klux Klan of Kanada"

Reads: "It becomes my duty to-day to send you a message that tugs at my very heart strings. This message is one of farewell to you, since I am retiring from the position of Imperial Kligrapp of the organization. There is always a feeling of gratitude as well as of responsibility in the heart of the man, who through Providence, is permitted to bring any institution into existence. I shall always have the you and the pride of being the father of the Ku Klux Klan in Canada. It is the child of my heart's love, and of course, this love can never be diminished or the union broken. I go, believing I have made a worthy contribution to our Anglo Saxon cause and to Protestantism. This is some measure lessens my regret at going. My world has been done --my contributions made --the movement is well and powerfully established --the foundation made secure! The organization has produced many great souls and will yet produce an adequate and sincere, and able leadership. Trust these leaders and uphold and co-operate with them. This is my parting charge. I came to Canada for the purpose of setting up this movement. I came to give to it the very best in my life. That I have fulfilled my vow, I believe no one will question. All the while I have known that at the proper time, the movement should be turned over to worthy men and women in Canada, who have espoused the cause and accepted the obligation o carrying on the work. [...] I have the pleasure of realizing that we have many thousands of members who are faithful and true, scattered over the county all the way form Halifax to Vancouver. That these Klansmen and Klanswomen will "CARRY ON" to success, and greet victory, I have not the slightest doubt. My associations with his Lordship, J. MacNab Wilson, Imperial Wizard and with the other members of the Imperial Kloncilium and with the thousands of our citizens has been of such a nature as to bring to my soul, memories to be cherished forever. I part reluctantly with these fellowships. It grieves me to even think that I shall not likely see you again soon [...] I bid you God speed as you go forward in the great task of building this great cause in Canada. I charge you, faithful Klansmen and Klanswomen BE TRUE, BE LOYAL, STICK TOGETHER, PRACTISE THE PRINCIPLES of our great cause, ESCHEW PETTY JEALOUSIES, and DIFFERENCES, for your opportunities are all but infinite and your obligations are very great. As I go form you, conscious of my many shortcomings here in your midst, I earnestly solicit your prayers and a continuation of that blessed fraternity and friendship which I have had from every one of you. Let nothing divide or disturb your course. Our enemy is united through fear and external force. Our Unity must be from choice and deep moral conviction. Practice Clannishness and secrecy and keep your eye on the pole star of our great cause. May God bless the Cause and you". Signed by C. Lewis Fowler, Imperial Kligrapp.

Bulletin #21

Title reads: "To All Geni, King and Major Kleagles, Kleagles, Imperial Representatives, and Citizens of the Invisible Empire". Reads "Greeting". In general mentions there have been some reports of certain Klan groups that attempted an organization under the leadership "of those who were banished from our ranks for cause has a Charter for their organization", and that this report is false, as they have no Klan Charter and "will never have". Apparently they got a charter for a club called "The Equal Rights League" which "means absolutely nothing". Mentions the Klan movement which is worldwide and is to "compass the Globe wherever White, Gentile, Protestant people live. Nothing can stop or hinder it. The Klan movement is the hope of the white race, is the rainbow of promise for world-wide Protestantism and is the only instrument produced hitherto that does and can guarantee success to our cause". Mentions as well that their increased growth requires more donations, and where those might be sent. Also, the Imperial Klaliff is on a tour in New Brunswick, and planning visits in Winnipeg, Regina, and Vancouver. Cautions to "watch Rome and study Rome at the present. The papists are using every strategy within their reach to get political control in Canada. Their untaxed property is a real menace, their school system a tragedy, and their bi-linguicism a curse to Canada [...] We must have National Unity -we must have a great "National" army of Klan workers. Let us regard those who suggest division anywhere at any time, under any condition as enemies to our great cause". Lastly notes to practice "Klanishness in every Klan", to "stand back of Klans-people in business", to remember that the Klan is not a "Lodge" but a "Movement". Signed "I. T. S.U. B., C Lewis Fowler, Imperial Kligrapp".

Bulletin #22: Special Official Imperial Document

Title reads: "To All Geni, King and Major Kleagles, Kleagles, Imperial Representatives, and Citizens of the Invisible Empire". Claims they have a document signed by J.H. Hawkins who was banished from the organization in June 1924. It states that "an amalgamation has been formed between the Ku Klux Klan of Kanada and the Ku Klux Klan of the British Empire, and a meeting of the Imperial Kloncilium will be held" on march 27. Document further states that all members should lay aside all "personal ambitions" and be ready "to work in the interest of Klancraft". The bulletin responds to this by saying personal ambition was already laid aside months ago, and they see Hawkins note as a "ruse entered into for the purpose of accomplishing the early ambitions and purposes of these discredited and banished men". In general claims the Fowler's statement is false, as there has been no amalgamation, and never will be, and that they can never restore the banished people because they have already proven themselves unworthy. "This organization, the K.K.K. of K. has consistently for the sake of our great cause taken over without cost to them, such men and women as were deceived, and gotten into these spurious movements. Accordingly the Imperial Wizard, the Imperial Kligrapp, and the entire membership at Sarnia, London, and Stratford of the Hawkins group were taken into this body together with a goodly number of others in the four or five communities in which the organization operates. [...] [this] organization has been right and God sent from the beginning. It was O. Elliott who on June 24 accused J.H. Hawkins of (1) treachery [...] (2) failure to account for funds, (3) disloyalty to the organization, and (4) violation of his Oath of Allegiance [...] We are given the facts to our entire membership and we are a unit and are prepared to show up discredited and banished, personally ambitious, parties, and to see that they shall not at anytime, anywhere, further deceive the White, Gentile, Protestant people of our fair Canada. They are banished. They belong to the alien world. Let us deal with them accordingly". Signed the Invisible Empire of the Ku Klux Klan of Kanada, By order of the Imperial Wizard, C Lewis Fowler, Imperial Kligrapp.

Bulletin #23

Title reads: "To All Geni, King and Major Kleagles, Kleagles, Imperial Representatives, and Citizens of the Invisible Empire". Reminder that all bulletins must be reading all Klaverns, announces that Imperial klonsel Homer B. Heely is now permanently located at the Headquarters Offices, warns C. Elliott and J.H. Hawkins have partnered to "force this organization to them back into our fold", but that this won't be done. Mentions that Hawkins is a man banished in June 1924 for incompetency, disloyalty, failure to account for funds, and treachery. Hawkins then went to start a new organization but failed. Explains also the Elliott was banished in 1926, and also tried to start another organization but failed as well. Otherwise, mentions that the Imperial Klaliff visited New Brunswick and is helping the cause there. Details also Standing committees, such as for publicity, schools, teachers, municipal or civic, provincial, national, religions activities, social welfare, entertainment, visiting committees, patriotic lit, Law enforcement, school text books, education and training in KlanKraft, program, and harbership. Finally, reminds that the Klan is not a lodge, but a "racial, Protestant movement".
