The fonds consists of a letterbook relating to the repairs of ships, recruiting, supplies and fleet disposition. The letters were written from the H.M.S. Prince Regent and H.M.S. St. Lawrence. The section of the letter for 1817 to 1823 deals with the Kingston Naval Yard.
The fonds consists of a letterbook written from Kingston Naval Yard, 1817-1821. It also contains correspondence including a letter to Mr. Lunn, 1821 Aug. 21, requesting him to compare Kingston and Montreal prices and a letter to wine merchants complaining of poor quality of wine in Kingston, 1823.
