Item is an oval top-half portrait of John Dunning, 1st Baron Ashburton (1731-1783). Printed by Sir J. Reynolds. Engraved by F. Bartolozzi. Published as the Act directs by F. Bartolozzi 1787.
The fonds consists of correspondence, militia papers, accounts, receipts and miscellaneous documents. The bulk of the correspondence is from when Stone was most active as a Militia officer. There are several general orders relating to such things as services rendered by Indigenous warriors, claims for pay and land grants. Among the miscellaneous papers is an indenture of election executed by Stone as returning officer for Leeds County.

The fonds consists of biographical material, correspondence, legal and financial documents, subject files and clippings of a noted Loyalist family. There are numerous family financial records and record books of the Brockville and Prescott Joint Stock Road Company, (ca. 1851-1915), and a general store in Prescott. The papers relate primarily to the affairs of Solomon Jones (1756-1822), physician and member of the Legislative Assembly.
