Photograph is portrait style; background is eliminated, the man is shown centered, looking out at the viewer. The only part of him visible beneath the mass amounts of animal furs he wears is his face, which is wrinkled. He neither smiles nor frowns; he has a mustache.

Physical condition

Silvering on the back of the glass plate negative, some finger prints and scratches. Looks like a little bit of moisture has gotten into the top right side of it, but does not appear to effect the quality of the image.
