The series consists of correspondence between Allan Gregg and senior members of the Federal Progressive Conservative party, as well as polling data, presentations and meeting notes created for policy strategists within the PC party. The series also contains polls and meeting notes for contracts with the PC party in various provinces. The series contains the following sub-series: Provincial (1980-1992), Federal (1979-1993).
This series reflects activities of the publishing house which were not exclusive to individual books or authors although there is some obvious overlap in terms of correspondents and subject matter with some of the files in other series.This series is arranged alphabetically along broad subject lines such as advertising, financial matters and royalties, promotion, correspondence and carry forward files maintained by the office. Also reflected is the relationship of the press with their distributors and with the larger publishing community through their participation in the Independant Publishers Association, the Canadian Book Publishers Council, the Association of Canadian Publishers and the Montreal Book Publishers Roundtable.
